Lavender Sky

Title - Lavender Sky triptych in plaster and paint

Here is a plaster and paint picture I sold recently entitled River Wide. It’s rare, but on this occasion I got the opportunity to see my work hanging in its new location, Michael and John’s summer lounge. It looked great, even though I do say so myself!

Thanks Michael and John.

Eye Storm Gallery Ipswich

Here are two pieces I exhibited in the Eye Storm Gallery as part of their Summer Open Exhibition, both in plaster and paint, as with all my work.

'Country Walk' collection part 1

A different format than before but one I find exciting. Not only do the proportion complement the subject matter but look great displayed between windows, doors etc and as they are so tall they drop below the usual picture height.

Cocks Foot & Brome

Set of Panels entitled Cocks Foot & Brome and as with all my work in plaster and paint, therefore highly textured, although from the pictures its hard to tell.

Buckenham Galleries

These are the pieces I produced for the Buckenham Galleries in Southwold Summer 2007 Show entitled 'Visual Sensation', I describe them as Jackson Pollock meets Miro, they’re based on primary and secondary colours.

Also showing at the Buckenham Galleries, as one of their gallery artists, are two of my first panels. These are part on my most resent collection of work.

Suffolk Open Studios

A Photo of my studio looking very neat and tidy for the weekend I opened it to the public as part of the Suffolk Open Studios event in June.

S.O.S Showcase Exhibition May 2006

These are the two pieces that I exhibited at the Suffolk Open Studios Showcase Exhibition to illustrate the different ways I have been exploring the use of plaster and paint, creating two very different styles. Unfortunately the photo quality is not that good.

Spring Series 2007

Some of the picture I produced during spring 2007 where I experimented with a more modern feel and use of paint.

Autumn Series 2006

Some of the picture I produced during autumn 2006 where I experimented with a slightly different technique in the plaster.

One of the favourites 2006

This picture has proved very popular. I have produced and sold others similar to commission or from galleries.

Pin Mill Studio 2006

These are some of the pictures I showed at my first solo exhibition.

The Frame Work Shop & Gallery 2005

These are a series of pictures I produced called ‘Inside and Out’ for an exhibition held at the Frame work shop Gallery.

I created, promoted and ran The Frame work shop Gallery for a while. A great opportunity for local artists to exhibit their work in Ipswich. Even though I am not running the gallery anymore, it is still there for artists to exhibit.

Starbucks

As part of an event called Art About Town in Ipswich in 2005 I produced these four pieces which were displayed in Starbucks creating quite an impact which was their intention.
